Embellishing the savannah with its unique and beautiful pattern, the unmistakable but endangered Masai giraffe is gracefully roaming the Serengeti plains.
On a visit to the Serengeti in Tanzania I stayed with this giraffe for a good while. He was a good area for the shot I had in mind and the skies had beautiful clouds. Sometimes you find these individual animals that are not too scared of your presence. This was one of those... He stayed relatively close to my position comfortable with me being there. I had to wait a good while until he decided to come out in the open from eating behind a tree.
