#043 - Michael

At the time of writing, visitors from around the world flock to Amboseli in hopes of catching a glimpse of the reigning King of Amboseli, Craig – a massive bull elephant with some of the largest tusks ever seen. Now entering his golden years at 52, Craig faces competition as other formidable bulls begin to vie for dominance.
 
One of these contenders is Michael. The sight of Michael moving gracefully through his natural habitat leaves spectators in awe, a testament to the beauty and power of the animal kingdom. In his 30s, Michael still has time to grow and develop. Although he has rivals, he is expected to be a strong candidate for leadership when the time comes.
 
Michael is one of my absolute favorite elephants. He is a beautifully built bull with massive, straight tusks that reach the ground, embodying the majesty and grandeur of his species.
