#020 - A Man in the Forest

Anyone who has ever stared into a dark forest knows that our eyes and ears can play tricks on us. Shadows and subtle movements often give rise to fleeting images and sounds that aren't really there. The interplay of branches, reflections, and light filtering through the dense foliage can create convincing illusions of faces, animals, or even mythical trolls. The mind conjures these visions from the chaos of nature, merging reality with imagination in a dance of light and shadow.
 
There was no man hiding high up in the pine trees—just the forest's memory of one... The forest holds onto its own stories, shaping memories from the interplay of light and dark, creating a hauntingly beautiful tapestry. In this moment, the forest becomes a living, breathing entity, full of history and mystery, inviting us to look deeper and question what we see and hear.
